>>>>The KWC took over ten wrestlers to
the Reno Worlds to compete against some of the toughest kids in the
nation. Several KWC wrestlers placed to include: Levi Perry at 76 lbs. in
the 10 & under division placing 5th, Kurtis Loftis at 100 lbs. in the 12 &
under division placing 3rd, Skyler Petry (shown above left) at 145 lbs. in
the 12 & under division placing 6th, and Michael Cook (shown above right
with the 78 lbs. champion Ronnie Bresser) at 78 lbs. in the 15 & under
division placing 2nd. Congratulations to all that competed.
Kuna Classic - Kuna, Idaho
March 27 & 28, 2009
>>>> The Kuna Wrestling Club had an
outstanding turn-out for their annual tournament in Kuna, Idaho. Kuna, as
the second leg of the Intermountain Series, had over 550 wrestlers from
Utah, Oregon, Washington and Idaho enjoy some great competition. Kuna took
the first place trophy followed by the Idaho Rattlers Wrestling Club from
Meridian, Idaho and Mountain Top Wrestling Club from Utah.

Rocky Mountain Nationals - Denver,
Colorado
March 20 & 21, 2009
>>>>The Kuna Wrestling Club took its
largest contingent to date to Denver, Colorado to battle some of the
toughest wrestlers in America. Over 3000 wrestlers competed from almost
every state. In fine KWC fashion, two of our wrestlers brought back the
hardware to Kuna. Michael Cook finished 3rd at 78 lbs. in the 15 and under
division andTyler Jaramillo placed 4th at 86 lbs. in the 12 and under
division. Congratulations to all the Idaho wrestlers who competed and
presented some serious challenges to their opponents in the Mile High
City.
>>>> Four Kuna wrestlers traveled to
Pocatello, Idaho for a large interstate USA Wrestling event that spanned
two days. All four wrestlers were in the Middle School division: Zachery
Velez 84 lbs. 6th, Tyler Jaramillo 91 lbs. 4th, Skylar Petry 144 lbs. 4th,
and Gabriel Owen 175 lbs. 3rd. Congrats on helping the Ultimate Challenge
be a success in the state of Idaho for the second straight year.

>>>> Four Kuna wrestlers traveled
down to Phoenix to see the talent that the Southwest United States had to
offer and found exactly what they were looking for. In the 12 & under
category, Jacoby Peterson and Jacob Barton both took 3rd in their
respective weight classes of 66 and 70 lbs. Michael Cook wrestled 15 &
under at 78 lbs. and brought home the trophy for second place. Kurtis
Loftis wrestled his last match at 11:30 pm and wrestled tough throughout
the day.
>>>> Several Kuna wrestlers went down to
Sandy, Utah this past weekend to compete in the "Intermountain Series" and
brought home some gold. Utah wrestlers will not be the only wrestlers
bringing home the Series crowns this year. Two other wrestlers accompanied
the Kuna Wrestlers to Sandy and they included Novice James Fisher from the
Bullcatcher Club and Cadet Kaden Steingruber of the Rattlers Wrestling
Club. Steingruber won Outstanding Greco Wrestler.

High Desert Challenge in Winnemucca this past weekend, a handful of Kuna
Wrestlers decided to continue the tradition of dominance and go down and
wrestle both Folkstyle and Freestyle with some really tough Idaho, Nevada,
and California wrestlers. The only two wrestlers that did not take first
both days decided to go up a weight class for the second day of
competition to get some stronger competition. The conclusion however:
